Zusammenfassung

Hitachi Energy Ltd. in Embrach, Switzerland is seeking a Team Leader Incoming Quality Control (IQC) to lead a 15–20 person IQC team and shape the incoming inspection processes for GIS and GCB components.

You will collaborate with operations, supply chain, suppliers and customers to ensure quality from the start of the value chain. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 5+ years in quality management, and leadership experience.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• Over five years of experience in quality management, project/program management, or similar functions.
• Leadership experience or strong interest in leading and developing people.
• Experience in quality management, manufacturing operations, lean principles and continuous improvement.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in German and English (written and spoken).
• Good knowledge of SAP, ideally in an SAP S/4HANA environment.

Aufgaben

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of IQC professionals (15–20) and drive function development.
• Act as site responsible and ensure adherence to relevant standards.
• Serve as main contact for urgent quality issues with operations, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop and improve inspection plans for incoming materials.
• Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement using data, KPIs and visual tools.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Recruit, mentor, and support quality professionals and plan succession.
• Ensure measurement equipment is calibrated and available for reliable inspections.
• Drive improvement initiatives with production, logistics, R&D, sourcing and other functions.
