Energy transmission and distribution in Zürich is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead root cause analyses for GIS equipment and drive improvements across multiple customers. The role emphasizes fast, sustainable solutions and on-site investigations when needed.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in electrical power systems with T&D O&M, a background in quality or project management, and strong communication skills. English is essential; German is a plus.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems with O&M of T&D systems.
• Background in quality function or project management in GIS.
• Profound understanding of electrical systems and equipment.
• Experience in commissioning T&D systems is a plus.
• Fluent English; German or other languages are a plus.
• Experience in quality or project management is a plus.
• Good communication and cultural sensitivity.

You act as a quality engineer for gas-insulated switchgear equipment, leading root cause analysis and customer complaint resolution in electrical power systems.

Tasks

• Lead root cause analysis in GIS quality cases
• Drive quality cases affecting multiple customers
• Own internal and external customer complaints and ensure fast, sustainable solutions
• Manage projects for bigger quality cases and drive improvements
• Prepare and present reports to internal and external stakeholders
• Run sustainable improvement projects to prevent recurring quality issues
• Support or lead on-site investigations and prepare method statements

Profile

• 5 years of experience in electrical power systems with O&M of T&D systems
