Lexton Stanley, a Geneva-based bank specializing in commodity trade finance, seeks a Credit Analyst to join its Credit Department. You will review credit packages, analyze financial statements, and coordinate with front-office teams to ensure transactions align with approved proposals.

Reporting to the Head of Credit, you will present financials to the Credit Committee, validate terms, monitor renewals, and maintain audit-ready credit files in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience in credit analysis within commodity trade finance.
• Strong financial analysis skills, comfortable assessing both audited and unaudited financial statements.
• Rigorous, detail-oriented, and comfortable working to Credit Committee deadlines.
• Fluent in English; French is an asset.

Aufgaben

• Conduct a comprehensive and critical review of credit packages submitted by the Front Office, including up-to-date financial analysis of audited and unaudited financial statements
• Present the financials of analyzed companies to the Credit Committee
• Review Credit Approval Forms for proper alignment with the terms of credit packages
• Ensure receipt of the security/collateral requested by the Credit Approval, and consult with legal advisors on the form, genuineness and enforceability of non-cash security
• Perform periodic review of borrowers' financial figures and flag any observed deterioration to Relationship Managers
• Review borrowers' annual audited figures and assign the annual credit risk rating
• Monitor maturity dates of ongoing Credit Approvals and ensure timely review and renewal
• Maintain credit files and documentation, ensuring they remain audit-ready
• Draft or review minutes of credit committees for your portfolio
• Respond to ad-hoc queries from Front Office and other stakeholders
