Helvetica Partners in Geneva seeks a seasoned Credit Analyst to join the Credit Analysis team. You will assess the financial strength and creditworthiness of clients and counterparties active in Commodity Trade Finance, analyze transaction risks, and advise on credit facilities.

The role involves close collaboration with Relationship Managers during structuring and review of transactions, with emphasis on accurate credit risk assessments and timely updates of credit files.

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Finance, Economics or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Credit Analyst / Credit Officer.
• Strong understanding of Commodity Trade Finance activities and instruments.
• Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English; additional languages are an advantage.

Aufgaben

• Analyse financial statements and CAFs for a portfolio of clients active in Commodity Trade Finance.
• Assess the creditworthiness and financial strength of clients and counterparties.
• Provide structured credit risk assessments and recommendations to internal decision-makers.
• Maintain up-to-date credit files through regular review of financial statements.
• Apply and update internal credit ratings for assigned counterparties.
• Review and validate accreditation requests relating to major counterparties, brokers and insurance companies.
• Assess credit risk and provide recommendations on one-off transactions presented by theCTF team.
• Work closely with Relationship Managers during initial structuring of transactions and establishment of credit lines.
