BGN in Geneva seeks a Senior / Trade Finance Executive to support and execute trade finance activities across its global trading operations. You will optimize financing structures, manage costs and ensure timely transaction execution while maintaining strong relationships with banks and internal stakeholders.

The role requires hands-on expertise in letters of credit, bank guarantees, ICC rules, and a strong compliance mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience – 7 yrs for senior level.
• Advanced level of English.
• Have at least a bachelor’s degree.
• Demonstrated participation in training programs that contribute to professional and personal development.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development of trade finance strategies and optimizes financial aspects of trading transactions.
• Manages relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Determines suitable credit terms for trade finance and negotiates accordingly.
• Performs cost calculations and shares estimated and final costs with relevant teams.
• Ensures trade finance processes are executed accurately and on time.
• Keeps abreast of international trade and finance regulations and ensures compliance.
• Prepares financial reports related to trade finance operations for senior management.
• Manages trade finance products such as letters of credit and bank guarantees.
• Maintains relationships with banks to secure favorable terms and financing options.
• Resolves disputes with customers, suppliers, and financial institutions.
