Job summary

La Table des Traditions in Gruyères (FR) is seeking an experienced Head Waiter/Waitress for a full-time, 100% position in a historic Swiss setting. You will manage your section, deliver high-quality service to Swiss and international guests, and collaborate closely with the kitchen and team to uphold standards.

Ideal candidates have a CFC or equivalent hospitality training, plus several years of service experience, and speak French fluently with English mandatory for international guests.

Qualifications

• Federal Certificate of Competence (CFC) as a restaurant specialist or equivalent training in hospitality.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in service after obtaining the diploma.
• For candidates without recognised training: minimum 10 years of confirmed experience in restaurant service.
• Excellent mastery of service techniques and ability to manage a section independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, attentive and high-quality service to our clientele.
• Manage your section independently, from setup to the end of service.
• Welcome, advise and build loyalty with Swiss and international customers.

Located in the heart of one of Switzerland's most iconic tourist sites, La Table des Traditions welcomes Swiss and international clientele in an authentic and warm setting.

As part of the development of our establishment, we are looking for an experienced, meticulous and passionate Head Waiter/Waitress at 100% in the hospitality industry.

Your mission

Your profile

Training and experience:

• Very good command of French.

• Residence in Switzerland, ideally in the Bulle, Gruyères, Fribourg region or surroundings.
• Swiss nationality or valid work permit in Switzerland.
• Application with a C permit particularly appreciated.
