Your opportunity :
The Office of the Vice-President and Principal supports the priorities and objectives established by the Vice-President & Principal in accordance with the UTSC Strategic Plan, Inspiring Inclusive Excellence, and the University's Three Priorities. The office oversees the planning of major university and campus-wide events, initiatives and special projects, and is also the primary contact for all aspects of campus protocol related to ceremonies and visits by delegations and dignitaries.
We are currently recruiting for a Business Officer to join the Office of the Vice-President & Principal. Working under general supervision of the Director, the Business Officer is responsible for overseeing several operating budgets and performing a range of financial and administrative functions to support the efficient and effective administration of the department. Responsibilities include budget development and analysis; reporting; reconciliation; purchasing equipment and supplies; monitoring and tracking financial activity; forecasting; and ensuring that all financial activities are conducted in accordance with University guidelines and policies.
