Job summary
A leading data center management firm in Markham is looking for a Site Operations Manager to oversee daily operations of the data center. The role involves managing a team of Operations Technicians, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and coordinating technical infrastructure maintenance. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in operations management or a related field, along with leadership and project management skills. This position requires on-call availability, emphasizing the importance of commitment and expertise in data center operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or 5 years of related work experience.
- CDCMP or other Data Center Operations Management Certification preferred.
- Hands on experience with industry audit practices.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the data center, ensuring safety, timeliness, and budget adherence.
- Supervise a team of 3-8 direct reports, including Operations Technicians.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate the maintenance of data center infrastructure.
