About The Job
Vista Radio has an immediate opening for an Account Executive, based in Dawson Creek, British Columbia – also servicing clients across the Peace Region including Fort Nelson and Fort St. John, and right through to Grande Prairie, Alberta.
Description
- Developing and managing marketing campaigns for clients that integrate radio and digital strategies to help clients achieve their business goals.
- Providing on-going customer support to an existing client base to ensure optimal service levels at all times.
- Creating new campaigns, managing existing campaigns, and finding opportunities for growing client accounts.
- Developing new business and new revenue streams from unassigned accounts, and developing creative sales strategies and proposals for potential clients.
- Meeting and exceeding monthly/quarterly/yearly revenue targets.
- Managing accounts receivables for your accounts.
Requirements
- Sales experience or entrepreneurial background required
- Experience with commission structured pay plans an asset, with training available to the right candidate specifically in media sales
- A positive, friendly and consultative customer service approach
- High level of initiative, self-motivated and goal-oriented
- Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Strong computer skills - specifically Microsoft Office products – is essential
- Knowledge of vCreative and Wide Orbit is a bonus
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional prospecting and networking skills
- Conceptual, creative thinker and problem solver
- Enjoys a fast-paced work environment that is based on team & individual effort
- A positive, friendly manner and customer service approach
- A valid driver’s license and reliable fully insured automobile
Compensation
This is a commission-based role with unlimited earning potential. At no point will employees earn less than minimum wage. Once commissions are earned, compensation is based on the revenue generated from client sales. High-performing Account Executives have the potential to significantly exceed the base earnings, with no cap on commissions. Your success is directly tied to your ability to drive revenue and build strong client relationships.
