Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience required.

Qualifications:

• A university degree, preferably in a related discipline such as English, journalism, public relations, political science, communications, or creative writing.
• Superior knowledge of proper English grammar, punctuation, usage, and formatting, as well as familiarity with Canadian Press, plain language, and Government of Alberta styles.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze and synthesize information while editing and writing documents.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload to meet Panel needs and departmental deadlines.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating approachability, tact, and political sensitivity.
• Ability to work as a team player with minimal supervision.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; familiarity with SharePoint is an asset.

Attend Public Advisory Panel (the Panel) meetings to ensure that the recommendations made by the Panel are accurately captured. Draft the recommendations into reports for review by the Minister.
