Job summary
A governmental agency in West Kelowna is seeking a skilled individual to perform laboratory tests and care for animals. Responsibilities include collecting samples, assisting veterinarians during surgery, and providing nursing care. The ideal candidate will have a relevant diploma, experience in animal health, and strong communication skills. This is a physically demanding role requiring work on site with no remote options.

Responsibilities
- Collect samples and perform other laboratory tests.
- Handle, restrain, and care for animals undergoing treatment.
- Produce diagnostic radiographs and assist veterinarians during surgery.
- Prepare and administer medications under the direction of a veterinarian.

Languages: English
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
- 7 months to less than 1 year
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
