Job Description

Salary Range : $52,000-$57,000 gross annually, based on previous experience

As the Assistant Laundry Manager, your attention to detail in our Laundry operation will ensure exceptional standards for our hotel linens. You will play a key role in facilitating a memorable guest experience. Your responsibilities include:

• Ensuring the upkeep, cleanliness, and maintenance of all Laundry / Valet areas
• Training and supervising all Laundry / Valet department employees
• Monitoring health and safety regulations and W.H.I.M.S. training compliance
• Managing general office administration, including contracts, payroll, scheduling, supplies, and inventory control
• Conducting performance evaluations for Laundry / Valet staff
• Performing linen inventories for rooms and F&B, and coordinating with division managers to maintain adequate supplies based on business levels

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include :

• Previous supervisory experience required
• Knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning products is an asset
• Valid Alberta driver’s license required; ability to drive a standard vehicle is an asset
• Able to work flexible hours over a 24-hour period

Additional Information

Visa Requirements : Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel cannot assist with obtaining Canadian work authorization.
