Base pay range

CA$20.00 / hr - CA$21.00 / hr

We currently have over 150 childcares across Canada & USA and are constantly expanding; come and grow within the company!

Responsibilities

1. Maintain documentation, reporting, and record keeping
2. Implement an Emergent Curriculum
3. Support children’s emotional, physical, or behavioural well-being; while helping to develop their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills
4. Maintain attendance, and health and safety checks
5. Work with professionals, such as Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Early Interventionists as necessary
6. Support children through transitions in and out of the classrooms
7. Meet all classroom ratios as outlined in CCEYA
8. Participate and interact in team meetings and workshops

Specifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels with children, parents, and co-workers.
• Ability to utilize computer systems for all documentation, reporting, and classroom operations
• Strong collaborator and team player
• Ability to take initiative in and out of the classroom
• Strong problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• Registered ECE with the College of ECEs
• Clear Child Abuse Registry
• Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal reference check
• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
• Immunization records up to date
