A major infrastructure contractor is seeking a Business Development Specialist to drive growth and maintain external business relationships. The role involves market analysis, networking at trade events, and collaborating with operational teams to align business development strategies with company objectives. Candidates should have strong industry connections, a relevant bachelor's degree, and 5-8 years of experience in sales or marketing.
Major infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Business Development Specialist who will be responsible and accountable for driving growth through generation of new business opportunities while developing and maintaining external business relationships with key clients, consultants, trade partners and First Nations groups. The incumbent is focused on supporting and implementing market and business development strategy by garnering market intel, fostering new and existing relationships and representing employer at local trade functions. The incumbent has a deep understanding of the regional market and utilizes their strong technical background, presentation and writing skills, and existing relationships within the industry to support the business plan and overall goals. Salary range will be $100,000 – $150,000 plus bonus. Outpost Recruitment is excited to work with our client on this full-time permanent role.
