Job summary
A community financial services unit in Northeastern Ontario is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to manage payments and maintain accurate records. The ideal candidate will have a Secondary School Diploma, some accounting experience, and be proficient in accounting software such as ACCPAC. Strong communication skills are essential, and knowledge of Anishnaabemowin is an asset. This role involves daily bookkeeping, support for the AR Manager, and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Qualifications
- Must have completed a Secondary School Diploma.
- Experience in a computerized accounting environment is necessary.
- Strong proficiency in relevant accounting software is required.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping and clerical duties.
- Maintain accurate accounts receivable records.
- Communicate effectively with WUT membership.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Receivable Department and management.
