Pay Scale:

Eureka - $31.43- 48.08

Santa Rosa- $35. 26- 53.94

The physical therapy assistant assists in the provision of physical therapy service provided the service is rendered under the supervision of a physical therapist licensed by the board. Duties shall including following the physical therapist patient specific established treatment plan with the responsibility to report back to the supervising physical therapist any change in the patient's condition not consistent with planned progress or treatment goals.

Required qualifications:

• Completes necessary education to attain Physical Therapy Assistant in state of California.


• California Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire.


• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

Preferred qualifications:

• 1 year in Home Health as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

About the Team

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
