Role Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our Energy division. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our services to new and existing clients, while developing long-term business relationships that result in strong financial performance. The Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving growth within the energy sector by identifying opportunities, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions that align with their objectives.

Principle Accountabilities
  • Manage the day-to-day business development and operational activities of the energy team.
  • Responsibility for hitting revenue and profit margin KPI targets and achieving regional goals.
  • Management of the team budget and responsible for team P&L.
  • Oversee and responsible for interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, and providing leadership on a daily basis to the regional team.
  • Provide strategic and operational planning input for regional operations, and report progress and results to MD and Senior Management peer group.
  • Responsible for setting and managing office standards and champion the core values and culture of Airswift.
  • Develop and grow strong business relationships with clients and contractors.
  • Work with the Marketing function and undertake local marketing initiatives to develop and strengthen the Airswift brand and generate sales in the region.
  • Manage and support a team of client Service Managers and Recruitment Consultants.
  • Drive quality, efficiency and excellent customer service to contractors and clients.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years management experience with the following skills: Leadership, people management, team building, strong management process, financial, budgeting and planning.
  • Proven track record of building and running a successful team.
  • Energy Industry knowledge preferred, resourcefulness and a strong network of customers, channel and industry contacts would be desirable, but the ability to network effectively at senior level is mandatory.
  • Previous service company or recruitment experience.
  • Account Management experience with proven record of providing excellent customer service.
  • General business management experience.
  • Ability to embrace the Airswift culture and values, practices and processes but bring fresh and new ideas to move the company forward.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, organization and time management skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and objective driven. Will be keen to apply strategic vision and sales acumen to a highly challenging ‘fast-growth’ style role.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
