Wood is currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Eastern Canada Operations team. Reporting to the Civil / Structural Department Manager this position can be seated in either St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador; Halifax, Nova Scotia; Fredericton, New Brunswick; Oakville, Ontario; or Sudbury Ontario. This role involves leading and conducting structural design analysis, preparing technical documentation, evaluations, and verifications for various structural systems.

As a Structural Engineer, you will collaborate with a team of engineers / technicians to provide client-focused solutions. This role has a primary requirement for relevant experience in industrial, hydro utilities and hydroelectric structures design. You will be part of the structural engineering team delivering projects in the Power and Process industries. This includes structural steel and reinforced concrete design for industrial buildings, substation steel structures and foundations, equipment support platforms and associated foundations, pipe racks, tank foundations, hydroelectric dams, sluiceways, abutments, piers and various other miscellaneous structures.
