Job summary
A financial services company in Canada is seeking a Tax Preparation professional for a seasonal role. The ideal candidate has at least 3 seasons of tax preparation experience and a minimum of 30 tax returns annually. You will assist customers in preparing their taxes and ensure accuracy in their submissions. Strong customer service and critical thinking skills are essential. This position requires teamwork and effective communication with clients.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 seasons of paid Tax Preparation experience with at least 30 tax returns each year.
- Knowledge of tax laws and familiarity with form 1040 and schedules required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to empathize and instill confidence.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in preparing their own tax returns and/or prepare customer tax returns.
- Compile and prepare tax returns for TurboTax customers.
- Gather and enter customer data accurately for review.
