A municipal organization in Northwestern Ontario is seeking a summer student for a position related to water distribution and wastewater collection. The role involves assisting maintenance crews with minor tasks and performing regular maintenance on infrastructure. Candidates must have a valid Ontario Class G licence and be enrolled in an engineering or environmental program. Strong communication and customer service skills are essential. The position offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in a supportive team environment.
Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in a college or university program related to engineering, environmental or science.
- Must possess superior customer service skills.
- Must have a valid Ontario Class G licence.
Responsabilités
- Assist maintenance crews with minor work tasks.
- Perform maintenance on fire hydrants including inspections.
- Assist with database creations and upkeep.
