A growing service provider in Ontario is seeking a Health, Safety, Environment Advisor to ensure compliance with safety programs in a Nuclear Facility. The ideal candidate will monitor work, conduct field observations, and assist in developing safe work practices while ensuring adherence to all safety regulations. The Health, Safety, Environment Advisor is responsible for the implementation, administration and maintenance of the Black & McDonald Health, Safety/Environment programs within the Region. Ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, Provincial, Municipal Regulations, and Customer requirements for working in a Nuclear Facility.
Work closely with trades Supervisors and Site Managers and others to support safe work execution by ensuring programs compliance and effectiveness. Perform functions associated with but not limited to accident / incident prevention, human performance event‑free framework, event free tools, investigation techniques, coaching, mentoring, and statistical analysis.
