A local service organization in Invermere, British Columbia, is looking for a maintenance worker to operate lawn equipment and lead a crew for snow removal and lawn care services. Candidates must have experience using hand and power tools, attention to detail, and the ability to work in adverse conditions. The role includes inspecting equipment, collaborating with team members, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. This position offers practical work experience in a supportive environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety protocols at all times.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions for extended periods.
- Previous experience in snow removal and lawn care, or related fields is required.
Responsabilités
- Operate equipment to cut grass.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow lawn maintenance efficiently.
- Lead a crew and drive a company work vehicle safely.
- Examine equipment on a routine basis for damage or worn parts.
