Each of our 262 guest rooms and suites are fully automated with lights, temperature, and fan regulators all accessed through the Allure in-room wall control, iPhone, Android, or manually. Our fully equipped fitness centre, on-site Chop Steakhouse & Bar, and underground parking are a few of the amenities that provide the ultimate in service, comfort, and style unique to our well-appointed location.

Houseman / Woman

The Houseperson must understand his / her role as brand ambassador and must be driven to provide a positive experience to all guests through having meaningful interactions, responding to guest requests with a sense of urgency, and for keeping all public spaces and rooms immaculate.

This is a fast-paced and engaging role; the right individual will have an eye for detail, work well independently, and be great at communicating with our guests.

Job Duties

• Assist with preparing guestrooms to a high standard.
• Ensure public spaces are clean and well presented.
• Assist with evening housekeeping duties such as late stayover requests, converting beds.
• Collect waste and recycling from all public spaces.
• Deliver in-room amenities and linens to guests.
• Assist with laundry duties when required. Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Ensure all lost property items left in guest rooms or public spaces are properly recorded and stored.
• Take personal responsibility for equipment, ensuring it is operated and maintained correctly.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all chemicals and cleaning products, and the correct handling procedures.
• Report any maintenance and / or health and safety issues.
• Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and privacy of our guests.
• Work alongside all other departments in a friendly and professional manner.
• Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.

Work Conditions

• Manual dexterity required to use various cleaning apparatus and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Regular physical activity including walking, standing, sitting, lifting, crouching, and kneeling.
