Job summary

Maxim Truck & Trailer Inc. in Prince Albert, SK is seeking a dependable Yard Person to inspect and clean inventory, keep a safe, organized shop and yard, and support high customer satisfaction. The role also involves delivering parts and transporting units between Maxim locations as needed.

You will move trucks and trailers, perform exterior washing, manage shop cleanliness, and assist with parts deliveries while maintaining a strong focus on safety and efficiency in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 1A driver's license.
• At least one year of heavy-duty truck driving experience.
• Previous vehicle cleaning or detailing experience is an asset.
• A strong commitment to customer service.
• Comfort performing repetitive and routine duties.
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and reliability.
• Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with people at all levels.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Move trucks and trailers safely between the shop and yard, wash unit exteriors with a pressure washer, and complete general interior cleaning.
• Deliver units to customers within Prince Albert.
• Keep the shop and yard clean, safe, and well maintained by collecting litter, emptying garbage cans, clearing snow from sidewalks and doorways, cutting grass and weeds, washing bay doors and windows, and disposing of pallets.
• Organize and inspect truck and trailer inventory, and complete rental check-ins and check-outs.
• Assist with parts deliveries as needed.

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
