Job summary

Maxim Truck & Trailer Inc. in Winnipeg is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Advisor to oversee all fleet preventative maintenance from intake to invoicing, ensuring cost-efficient service while protecting long-term customer relationships.

You will manage maintenance schedules, coordinate shop work and sublet repairs, review repair orders for invoicing, and maintain clear communication with customers through regular updates and meetings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of frontline customer service experience.
• Solid understanding of debits/credits and invoicing.
• Experience in a fleet environment preferred.
• Experience in the heavy‑duty truck/trailer industry ( or a related industry) is preferred.
• Team player with a strong commitment to the customer.
• Effective communication skills with a high level of professionalism.
• Excellent fact finding and analytical skills.
• Ability to organize, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Attentive to detail, strong aptitude for numbers.
• Basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, email, internet).
• Accurate keyboarding and data entry.
• Knowledge of Karmak preferred.Exposure to a similar billing system an asset.

Are you a motivated individual with strong customer service skills? Do you have an aptitude for numbers with knowledge of invoicing? If so, this may be a great fit for you! We are looking for a new Fleet Maintenance Advisor to join our team! In this position you will oversee all fleet preventative maintenance and more, from initial unit intake to creating the invoice. You will ensure Maxim’s equipment is maintained in a cost efficient manner while sustaining long‑term customer relationships.

What will your responsibilities be?

Hours:

• Monday to Friday, with a rotating weekend shift pattern
• Training hours are: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM for approximately 6 weeks
