Maxim Truck & Trailer in Brandon, MB is seeking a Shipper/Receiver & Delivery Driver. You will load/unload a company delivery truck with parts, pick up and deliver to customers, and complete paperwork while keeping the truck in good condition.

You will also assist in the warehouse with picking, shipping, receiving, and cleanup during delivery downtime. Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and clean abstract.
• Ability to drive a 1/2 ton and a 1-ton truck.
• Capable of lifting/carrying up to 75 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills: data entry and keyboarding.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty truck & trailer industry is an asset.
• Forklift experience is an asset.”

Responsibilities

R7C1A8 Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will load/unload a company delivery truck with specified parts, pick up and deliver these parts to customers, complete associated paperwork, and uphold the appearance of the truck. You will also assist in the warehouse with picking, shipping, receiving, clean up, etc., during delivery downtime.

Hours

Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Picks parts based on computer generated pick ticket. Place completed orders in branch bins or customer direct deliver section of warehouse.
• Consolidates orders going to same location and packages for shipping. Loads and unloads courier and delivery trucks from other branches
• Complete associated paperwork
• Complete truck maintenance checks and report any wear or damage for repair
• Assist with other warehouse tasks during delivery downtime

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license, with safe driving practices and a clear abstract
• Ability to drive a ½ and a 1-ton truck required
• Must have the ability to lift/carry 75 pounds without assistance
• Must have strong interpersonal and excellent customer service skills
• Basic computer skills required: data entry and keyboarding
• Knowledge of heavy-duty truck & trailer industry is a definite asset
• Forklift experience and ability to climb ladders is a definite asset
• 1 year of city delivery experience preferred
• 1-2 years warehouse experience preferred
