Maxim Truck & Trailer in Prince Albert, SK is seeking a Heavy Duty Truck Technician to diagnose, service and repair heavy duty trucks and trailers. The successful candidate will work independently to ensure quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

The role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, training opportunities, benefits and a path for apprenticeship advancement within a well-established Canadian dealer network.

Qualifications

• 3rd Year Heavy Duty Apprentice to Journeyman designation.
• Safety inspections certificate an asset.
• Interest in continually upgrading skills and knowledge in trade.
• Class One with Air Driver's License an asset for road tests.
• Team player with strong commitment to customer service.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn in-house programs.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiar with tools of the trade and equipped with hand tools.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailers.
• Identify potential and future problems.
• Make recommendations on repairs or replacement parts.
• Update the Service Manager on completion time changes.
• Road test the unit to ensure quality of work completed.
• Document repairs, parts, or problems encountered during repair process on repair order.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Maxim is currently seeking a HEAVY DUTY TRUCK TECHNICIAN for our Prince Albert Location. The successful candidate will work independently to complete the diagnostics, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailers. This is a great opportunity to offer outstanding customer satisfaction while working as a valuable member of Maxim's prospering team!

Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

• Complete thorough and quality diagnostic, service and repair of heavy duty trucks and trailers
