Job summary

Maxim Truck & Trailer Inc. has a Brandon-based delivery/warehouse role. You will load and unload parts from our company truck, pick items for orders, and deliver to customers while completing required paperwork. When not delivering, you’ll help in the warehouse with picking, shipping, and receiving, plus general cleanup.

The position emphasizes safe driving, customer service, and basic data entry. A Class 5 license and ability to handle up to 75 lb loads are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clear abstract.
• Ability to drive a ½ and a 1-ton truck required.
• Must lift/carry 75 pounds without assistance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and excellent customer service.
• Basic computer skills: data entry and keyboarding.
• Knowledge of heavy-duty truck & trailer industry is an asset.
• Forklift experience and ladder climbing are assets.
• 1 year city delivery experience preferred.
• 1–2 years warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload a company delivery truck with specified parts.
• Pick up and deliver parts to customers and complete paperwork.
• Assist in warehouse with picking, shipping, receiving and cleanup during downtime.
• Complete truck maintenance checks and report wear or damage.

Job description

Reporting to the Parts Manager, you will load/unload a company delivery truck with specified parts, pick up and deliver these parts to customers, complete associated paperwork, and uphold the appearance of the truck. You will also assist in the warehouse with picking, shipping, receiving, clean up, etc., during delivery downtime.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Picks parts based on computer generated pick ticket. Place completed orders in branch bins or customer direct deliver section of warehouse.
• Consolidates orders going to same location and packages for shipping. Loads and unloads courier and delivery trucks from other branches
• Complete associated paperwork
• Complete truck maintenance checks and report any wear or damage for repair
• Assist with other warehouse tasks during delivery downtime

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class 5 driver’s license, with safe driving practices and a clear abstract
• Ability to drive a ½ and a 1-ton truck required
