Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking a Workforce Analyst to support the DC Engineering team with labour standards, forecasting, and workforce planning. This hybrid role is based in the greater Vancouver area, with four days per week at the Langley DC and one remote day.

You will maintain UKG Workforce Management, analyze labour performance, and collaborate with Engineering and Operations to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience supporting warehouse operations, labour planning, workforce management, or industrial engineering activities.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Workforce Management applications.
  • Experience performing motion and time studies (MOST or equivalent methodology).
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related discipline.

  • Perform motion and time studies to validate labour standards and identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
  • Analyze labour performance, operational data, and workflow trends to support Engineering initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Maintain and administer the UKG Workforce Management application, including labour standards, scheduling rules, and system configurations.
  • Support labour forecasting and workforce planning activities by reviewing operational volumes and labour requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering, Operations, and other cross-functional teams to ensure workforce management processes align with operational objectives.
  • Assist with the development, testing, and implementation of future workforce planning and labour management solutions.
