Job summary

Best Buy Canada is seeking a Workforce Planning Specialist to support the Distribution Centre (Langley) Engineering team in maintaining labour standards and workforce planning. This hybrid role requires you to be in the greater Vancouver area, working 4 days per week at the Langley DC and 1 day remotely.

In this position you will analyze labour performance, support scheduling tools, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to boost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience supporting warehouse operations or industrial engineering.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or Workforce Management applications.
• Experience performing motion and time studies (MOST or equivalent).
• Strong analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support the DC Engineering team in maintaining labour standards and planning processes.
• Analyze labour performance, data, and workflow trends to support initiatives.
• Maintain UKG Workforce Management data, rules, and configurations.
• Assist with forecasting and workforce planning by reviewing volumes and requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Operations to align processes with objectives.
• Participate in development, testing, and implementation of future planning solutions.

As a Workforce Planning Specialist, you will support the Distribution Centre (DC) Engineering team in maintaining labour standards, workforce planning processes, and workforce management systems.
