A technology consulting firm is seeking a Workday Configuration Consultant to improve employee experiences through innovative HR technology solutions. The ideal candidate has over 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience and is adept at supporting various HR programs. This hybrid role requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders. The position offers a contract duration with the possibility of extension and a flexible work schedule.
Location Address: Waterloo, Toronto or Montreal
Working Arrangement: Hybrid role (3 days in office - Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
Contract Duration: 05/05/2025 to 05/04/2026. 1 year – start as soon as possible

Schedule Hours: 9am-5pm (can start at 8am or 10am as well). Monday-Friday; standard 37.5 hrs/week. Flexible start insofar as core hours are worked.

As a Workday Configuration Consultant, within the Global HR Employee Experience Team, you are always looking for ways to innovate and improve the Employee Experience, promoting and advocating for our technology. You are a domain expert plugged into Workday and other HR technology through peer networks, vendor resources like Workday Community, and other available resources. You enjoy constantly learning and applying new advances in technology for the organization that exemplify and uphold our vision and strategy.
Because you are highly technical, strategic, and end-user focused, you’re able to identify problems or risks and develop forward-thinking solutions that you can authoritatively explain back to the clients using visuals and language they can understand. You know when to challenge, when to ask for help, or when to go above and beyond for success.
You’ll think and act globally while addressing local nuances when creating the right technology solutions. You will collaborate and build partnerships across HR as well as with Group Functions Technology (GFT), Compliance, Finance and other areas of the business.
