Job summary

The Wine Shop Ltd. in Ontario is seeking a friendly, professional sales teammate to deliver a superior shopping experience for every guest in our store.

You will operate POS systems, handle cash, and help customers with product information. This role requires Smart Serve certification, 2 years of customer service, and the ability to lift 40 lbs; weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification.
• Experience with computer-based point of sale systems and handling cash is an asset.
• Proficiency with Windows applications including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide total customer satisfaction and outstanding service to every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information as required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising; light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and accurately balance the till.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player who contributes to the team's efforts.
