Job summary

The Wine Shop is seeking an enthusiastic teammate to join our retail team in Hamilton, Ontario. You will deliver a superior shopping experience by assisting customers, answering product questions, and keeping displays tidy and well-stocked.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of customer service experience, Smart Serve certification, and familiarity with POS systems and cash handling. Flexibility for days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of customer service experience required.
• Smart Serve Certification required.
• Experience with POS systems and cash handling is an asset.
• Proficient with Windows applications (Word/Excel/Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure total customer satisfaction and outstanding service for every customer.
• Assist customers with purchases and provide product information when required.
• Assist with product shipments and merchandising, including light cleaning of shelves and display units.
• Handle cash and balance till accurately.
• Comply with Health and Safety rules & Security within the workplace.
• Be a team player contributing to the team's efforts.
