Job summary

Johnson Controls Security Products seeks an Area Sales Manager to lead a team of Manufacturer Representatives across Western Canada. You will drive sales for Exacq, Kantech and Illustrain, manage partnerships, and meet quarterly quotas from Alberta to British Columbia.

The role requires a strong network in security tech, proven channel success, and the ability to travel about half of the time. Based in Western Canada, Calgary or Edmonton preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in sales within commercial Security Product industry (Access Control / Video Surveillance)
• Experience in sales channel management including distribution
• Strong presentation, negotiation and listening skills
• Ability to build and manage executive-level relationships across regions
• Willingness to travel ~50% across Western Canada (AB/BC)

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies to strengthen relationships with Dealers, Distributors, Specifiers/A&Es and 3rd party technology partners in Western Canada
• Develop new dealer partnerships and promote all brands
• Manage and report sales activities, pipeline and forecasting; provide timely information on performance and market conditions
• Represent Johnson Controls Security Products at industry events and tradeshows
• Collaborate with sales and cross-functional leadership as needed
