Confidential Search is seeking a hands-on Business Development Manager to lead the Canadian market for our client, a world-leading giant OTR tire manufacturer serving mining operations. You will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, travel across Western Canada, and build lasting relationships with operators, contractors, OEMs, and service providers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the mining industry with operators, contractors, OEMs, or tire suppliers.
• Proven track record of opening new accounts and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong network within the Canadian Western mining community (Alberta/BC).
• Familiarity with OTR tires or heavy mining equipment is a strong plus.
• Entrepreneurial mindset: self-motivated and territory-building.
• Willingness to travel extensively to mine sites across the region.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory business plan to drive sales growth of giant OTR/mining tires across Western Canada.
• Identify, prospect, and establish relationships with key decision-makers at mining operations, mining contractors, and equipment fleets.
• Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation, site visits, needs analysis, quoting, negotiation, and contract closure.
• Work with technical and logistics teams to ensure seamless product delivery and after-sales support.
• Gather market intelligence on competitors, pricing, customer demand, and industry trends; share insights with headquarters.
• Represent the company at industry events, mine sites, and trade shows across the region.
• Build and maintain a healthy, growing sales pipeline with accurate forecasting.
