A community-focused non-profit organization in Ontario is seeking a Volunteer Board of Directors Member to guide strategic direction and governance. This role involves attending monthly board meetings, participating in decision-making, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Ideal candidates will have experience in relevant sectors such as finance or affordable housing and a strong commitment to community well-being. Looking for volunteer to be available to attend monthly board meetings. Meetings are in person at 854 Hartman Drive in Midland, ON. Length of meeting is on average of two hours.
Approximately 2 hours per month.
Monthly board meetings held during daytime hours.
Mount Lakeview Non‑Profit Housing is dedicated to providing safe, affordable, and sustainable housing options for individuals and families in our community. Our portfolio includes a mix of market‑rent and rent‑geared‑to‑income (RGI) units, operating in alignment with provincial housing requirements and community needs.
As a Volunteer Board Member, you will contribute your professional expertise, lived experience, and passion for community service to guide the strategic direction, governance, and oversight of Mount Lakeview Non‑Profit Housing.
We welcome individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Lived experience related to affordable housing, community support, or tenant advocacy is also highly valued.
Age of majority in province of opportunity. Access to car. Comfortable commuting to opportunity location. Own laptop with internet access and camera. Own cell phone. Computer with internet access.
