Area Sales Manager

Reporting to:
Regional Sales Manager

Location:
Toronto

This position requires travel of 50% or less, including driving and/or flying throughout the assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and expand sales within existing customer base; prospect and build pipeline for new business opportunities, including competitive accounts and targeted non-core physicians/businesses.
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision makers at multiple levels.
  • Coach, mentor, and lead Territory Managers through the sales process of significant accounts.
  • Create quarterly, monthly, and weekly plans to maximize customer relationships and face-to-face selling time in the territory.
  • Develop and manage pipeline, ensure progression, conduct cold calls and on-site visits.
  • Forecast sales and submit reports timely.
  • Collaborate with regional sales leaders to plan and execute territory strategies to meet sales targets monthly and quarterly.
  • Travel within the territory and to the United States for training, tradeshows, and meetings.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (preferred).
  • At least 4 years of sales experience, preferably in B2B, capital equipment sales, or medical devices.
  • Proven success in meeting sales quotas and driving growth.
  • Ability to manage quotas exceeding $1.5 million annually.
  • Skilled in managing and closing complex sales.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; Salesforce experience preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to use personal vehicle.
