Requirements to be considered for this job :
  • A professional accounting designation (CPA, CA, CGA or CMA) or equivalent (strongly preferred)
  • Relevant financial leadership experience at the senior leadership level
  • Experience coaching and mentoring cross-functional teams, including finance, people and culture, digital operations, programs, and research
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, integrate, and align business strategies with organizational resources in a dynamic environment
  • Solid background in operational excellence, risk management, and transparent reporting
  • Proven track record in leading teams, building consensus, and maintaining a culture of collaboration, transparency, accountability, and high performance
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess and address opportunities and risks, and communicate outcomes to leadership and the Board
  • Ability to authorize and oversee updates to data management, information systems, and communications technology
  • Leadership skills to motivate, encourage, and provide clear direction to staff with diverse backgrounds and varying skill sets
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and consensus-building abilities
  • Experience with sophisticated fund and grant accounting, compliance, and reporting (non-profit or charitable sector experience is an asset)
