Part-time position

Foster Park Animal Hospital is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our team of skilled veterinary professionals. We offer a community-oriented environment with mentorship and ongoing training opportunities.

  • Completion of a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program.
  • Knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy.
  • Surgical preparation, assistance, and patient recovery experience.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Compassionate care for hospitalized patients and pet owners.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to ask clarifying questions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills for working with colleagues and clients.
  • Passion for continuous learning within the role.
