Job summary

A leading foodservice company in Toronto is seeking a Unit HR & HSQA Specialist. In this role, you will coordinate HR issues, support recruitment and training, and ensure adherence to health and safety standards. Qualifications

Job Summary

Now, if you were to come on board as our Unit HR & HSQA Specialist, we’d ask you to do the following for us:

  • Coordinate and provide administrative support on all HR issues including, but not limited to, recruitment, HR orientation, training, employee and labour relations, and performance management
  • Work closely with Payroll and Benefits department to address any benefits and compensation issues
  • Support the new Associates, explaining benefits and policies, and helping to complete all new hire paperwork
  • Assist our Occupational Health & Safety and Quality Assurance departments in ensuring units and associates adhere to the Company policies, as well as the Health & Safety and Quality Assurance provisions
  • Perform regular in-unit Health & Safety inspections and audits
  • Maintain & update employee files and records

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
