Job summary

Giampaolo Group Inc. is seeking a skilled AZ driver for day shift in St. Catharines, Ontario. You will operate AZ tractors and roll-off trucks, ensure safe cargo handling, complete logs and inspection reports, and interact professionally with customers.

The role requires an AZ license with air brake endorsement, a clean CVOR and driver’s abstract, and experience with 13 or 18 speed manuals. Starting wage is $29.22 per hour with benefits, overtime and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid AZ license with Air Brake endorsement.
• CVOR and Driver's Abstract with minimal demerit points.
• Experience with 13- and/or 18-speed manual transmissions.
• Two years of Roll-off truck driving preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ tractors, roll-off and lugger trucks as assigned.
• Transport materials and maintain safe cargo handling.
• Complete driver logbooks and trip/inspection reports accurately.
• Maintain professional interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Adhere to all safety policies; perform other duties as assigned.

Starting Wage

• $29.22

Day Shift

• Monday to Friday: 7am - 4:00 pm (Overtime as required). Weekends as required.

What We Expect You To Do

• Operate AZ (manual transmission) as assigned (Tractor, Roll-Off and Lugger Truck);
• Transport materials utilizing most efficient routs;
• Ensure safety and security of cargo;
• Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers;
• Accurate completion of driver logbook;
• Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);
• Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

You Have

• Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP’s Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride.
• Valid AZ License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
• Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with minimal demerit points and/or reported incidents;
• Experience with 13, and/or 18 speed manual transmission
• Possess a proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude.
• Two years of Roll-off Truck Driving experience preferred
