Job summary

Triple M Metal LP in Kitchener, ON is seeking an AZ Driver to transport materials to and from assigned locations, maintaining timeliness and safety on the road while operating Roll-off or Lugger trucks.

Starting wage is $29.22 per hour on days (Mon-Fri 7am-4pm, overtime as needed). The role requires a valid AZ license with Air Brake endorsement, a clean CVOR and Driver's Abstract, and experience with 13- or 18-speed manual transmissions.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ License with Air Brake Endorsement.
• CVOR and Driver's Abstract with minimal demerit points.
• Experience with 13- and/or 18-speed manual transmissions.
• Two years of Roll-off Truck Driving experience preferred.
• Professional communication skills (verbal/written).

Responsibilities

• Operate AZ (manual transmission) as assigned (Tractor, Roll-Off and Lugger Truck).
• Transport materials utilizing the most efficient routes.
• Ensure safety and security of cargo.
• Interact professionally with internal and external customers.
• Complete driver logbook accurately.
• Prepare and file inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip).
• Other transportation duties as assigned by the manager.

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of AZ Driver. The position will be stationed at our 61 Balzer Ave, Kitchener, ON. This position will be responsible for transporting goods to and from assigned locations while adhering to time schedules in a timely manner, while operating assigned Roll-off or Lugger trucks in a safe, efficient and effective manner while adhering to the rules and regulations of the road. Day Shift

• Monday to Friday: 7am - 4:00 pm (Overtime as required). Weekends as required.

What We Expect You To Do

• Operate AZ (manual transmission) as assigned (Tractor, Roll-Off and Lugger Truck);
• Transport materials utilizing most efficient routs;
• Ensure safety and security of cargo;
• Professional presentation and interaction with internal and external customers;
• Accurate completion of driver logbook;
• Accurate completion of Inspection reports (pre-trip, en-route, post-trip);
• Other transportation duties as assigned by manager.

You Have

• Must exhibit Triple M Metal LP’s Core Values of Respect, Ethics, Service, Team and Pride.
• Valid AZ License with Air Brake (Z) Endorsement;
• Have a CVOR and Drivers Abstract with minimal demerit points and/or reported incidents;
• Experience with 13,and/or 18 speed manual transmission
• Possess a proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude.
• Two years of Roll-off Truck Driving experience preferred
