Job summary

Jagger in Toronto is hiring an HRBP to partner with managers on performance, development and engagement. This is the second HR hire, operating hybrid in Toronto and reporting to the Head of HR.

You will own employee relations, run onboarding and performance processes, manage compensation cycles and engagement surveys, and oversee the employee lifecycle from offer through offboarding while ensuring data accuracy and audit-ready HRIS, payroll and benefits across the business.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of HR experience, ideally as an HRBP, People Partner or HR Generalist.
• Background at a high-growth tech company.
• Generalist coverage across core HR, from employee relations to people ops.
• Hands-on experience with HRIS, payroll and benefits tools.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers on performance, feedback, development and engagement.
• Own employee relations, including performance issues and sensitive concerns.
• Run core people programs like onboarding, performance cycles and engagement surveys.
• Manage the employee lifecycle from offer to onboarding and offboarding.
• Keep HR data, documentation and systems accurate and audit-ready across HRIS, payroll and benefits.
• Support HR across the company as it scales.
