Job summary

MATTR in Toronto is seeking an HR Business Partner, Corporate Services, to partner with Finance, IT, Legal, Supply Chain, Marketing and head office teams, delivering practical people solutions that support business objectives. You will coach leaders on performance, investigations and changes, manage HR programs and projects, lead communications, and support workforce planning.

CHRP or progress toward certification and 6–8 years’ experience, plus SAP SuccessFactors and Power BI skills, are

Qualifications

• University degree or college diploma in Human Resources or a related field.
• CHRP designation or active progress toward certification.
• 6-8 years of progressive HR experience with direct business partnering responsibilities.
• Experience supporting a corporate or head-office client group.
• Experience working in both Canadian and U.S. employment environments.
• Strong employee relations experience, including investigations, performance management, accommodation, and termination processes.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Leaders & Drive Employee Relations: Serve as the primary HR advisor to corporate leaders and employees.
• Coach leaders on performance management, employee relations, attendance, accommodation, conduct, and disciplinary matters.
• Support workplace investigations and provide recommendations while ensuring compliance and appropriate documentation.
• Resolve employee concerns and provide guidance on policies, procedures, and employment practices.
• Build strong credibility and trusted partnerships with senior and executive-level stakeholders.
