Job summary

Quincaillerie Richelieu Ltée/Richelieu Hardware Ltd in Calgary, AB is seeking a driven Sales Representative to grow our business, maintain strong customer relationships, and promote our decorative panels, lumber and value-added wood programs from the Calgary office. This is a permanent full-time position focused on both existing customers and new business development.

Qualifications

• College or University degree in marketing or related field (asset).
• 5–7 years in a similar role (asset).
• Experience selling to retail market and target markets (asset).
• General knowledge of retail building materials and product lines.
• Experience in business development with ability to canvass new opportunities.
• Strong personal and organizational skills.
• Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Promote sales to retail lumber yards, flooring stores and design centre partners.
• Focus on new business development while managing and retaining existing customer relationships.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities within the territory.
• Manage the assigned sales territory to maximize growth and productivity.
• Develop and implement territory action plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
