Job summary

BGIS in Vancouver is seeking a Tenant Services Coordinator to coordinate small-scale maintenance projects, workspace changes, design services and office services for BGIS clients. You will also resolve tenant issues related to service projects, assemble scope and specifications, tendering, financial administration, and monitor contractor performance for tenant service and base building projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with a technical or business course.
• 1+ year of related experience.
• Strong client management and customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Knowledge of project delivery and tendering processes.
• General knowledge of commercial building systems and/or construction.
• Strong organization and multi-tasking.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to interpret contracts.
• CAD proficiency is an asset.
• Experience in facility management, churn, or related sectors.
• Proficiency with MS Office and email.

Responsibilities

• Receive, process and validate service requests by phone, email, or visits and track work orders.
• Coordinate BGIS and subcontracted forces to deliver tenant services within scope.
• Assist Facility Managers with delivery of small-scale tenant service projects, selecting contractors and monitoring performance.
• Review contract work, report discrepancies, and request Purchase Orders.
• Interpret client work processes, workplace culture and policies for effective delivery.
• Other duties as assigned.
