Job summary

Raise is currently hiring a contract team member for a Temporary Mailroom & Office Services Coordinator in Calgary, downtown. This role provides operational support during a temporary leave, handling mail, courier, print services, and general office functions in a busy environment.

The position runs October 1 to December 24, 2026, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (30 hours/week). The primary pay rate is $22.76/hour, with consideration for INC classification where applicable.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in mailroom, office services, administrative support, or similar environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience handling courier services and shipping documentation is an asset.
  • Experience operating multi-function printers is an asset.
  • Experience in a professional corporate office environment is an asset.
  • Ability to lift and move boxes and packages weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to walk throughout the office and perform regular mail and package deliveries.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods as required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and courier deliveries
  • Prepare and process outgoing mail, courier shipments, and registered mail
  • Coordinate with courier vendors and service providers
  • Handle confidential and time-sensitive correspondence appropriately
  • Maintain accurate records of shipping and delivery activities
  • Support office printing requests
  • Monitor and replenish office and mailroom supplies
  • Coordinate the delivery and pickup of records and boxes for off-site storage
  • Assist in maintaining common areas, meeting rooms, and workplace service areas
  • Restock supplies in kitchen and shared office spaces
  • Ensure workplace areas remain organized, safe, and presentable
  • Respond to employee requests related to mail, courier, and print services
  • Provide professional and timely support to internal stakeholders
  • Escalate issues when required and contribute to finding practical solutions

Description

Our client is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Temporary Mailroom & Office Services Coordinator to provide operational support during a temporary leave period. This role is responsible for managing daily mailroom activities, courier services, print support, and general workplace services functions to ensure the smooth operation of a busy office environment in Calgary.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service. This is a temporary contract role running October 1 to December 24, 2026, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM (30 hours/week).
