  • Nice-to-have: experience in a digital marketing agency; mobile app content; collaboration with creative teams.

Responsibilities

  • Content Operations & Copywriting: Write and edit web pages, newsletters, reports, and presentations with accessibility in mind.
  • Project Coordination: Track progress, manage documents (SharePoint), and generate progress reports for programs.
  • Cross-Channel Campaigns: Support digital communications across web, email, mobile, social, and online campaigns.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Review analytics to identify trends and inform content decisions.
  • Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration: Build relationships with internal/external partners and support internal digital communications.

Digital Content Specialist (Temporary Assignment)
  • Pay Rate: $32.56/hour, depending on experience
  • Contract Length: 6 Months
  • Location: Vancouver, British Columbia

Raise is currently hiring a Digital Content Specialist (Temporary Assignment) on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Our Client, is one of the largest electrical energy suppliers in Canada.

Note: The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.

Description

The Digital Content Specialist in this role will provide digital content strategy, stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and content operations support across our clients digital channels. In this role, you will consult with stakeholders, conduct comprehensive content reviews, and develop actionable recommendations to improve overall user experience. You will support information architecture and content governance activities, coordinate digital content projects, and implement web content updates. Additionally, this role supports ongoing day-to-day content operations, including developing and copywriting digital content, reviewing and editing web and email materials, managing incoming content requests, coordinating publishing schedules, and ensuring all assets adhere strictly to accessibility requirements, digital best practices, and content standards.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy & Consultation: Consult with internal clients and stakeholders to provide guidance on digital content solutions for web, email, and other digital channels. Develop digital content strategies from the brief stage through to marketplace execution.
  • Content Operations & Copywriting: Compose, write, and edit communication materials—including web pages, e-newsletters, management reports, and presentations—ensuring adherence to standards and accessibility guidelines.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate and support tracking tools, document management systems (such as SharePoint), and progress reports for formal programs and projects to ensure successful, on-time implementation.
  • Cross-Channel Campaigns: Assist with digital customer-facing communications and online enhancements delivered across web, mobile, social, e-newsletters, and paid/organic online campaigns.
  • Analytics & Optimization: Review digital analytics for trends and patterns, using data-driven insights to support decision-making, inform content strategies, and adjust future approaches.
  • Stakeholder & Agency Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with internal and external partners, collaborate with external agencies, and support 's internal digital communications function.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of two (2) years of communication support work experience (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a customer service-oriented digital role.
  • Strong writing, editing, and copywriting skills for multi-platform delivery (web, email, mobile).
  • Demonstrated experience developing digital content strategies and working with content information architecture.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and document management systems (e.g., SharePoint).
  • Experience using analytics and data to inform content decisions.
  • Strong project management, coordination, and multitasking skills to handle simultaneous stakeholder requests.
  • Excellent relationship-management and communication skills (advanced written and spoken English for a professional environment).
  • Nice-to-Have Qualifications
  • Experience working within a digital marketing agency setting.
  • Experience working with mobile app content and digital experiences.
  • Experience handling visual content and collaborating directly with creative services teams on visual assets.
  • Education and Certifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Specialty Credentials (Preferred/Additional):
  • Diploma in marketing management.
  • Canadian Marketing Association (CMA) accreditation or equivalent.
  • Additional coursework delivered through the ACA, BCAMA, IAB, or similar recognized bodies.
Additional Information
  • Every contractor must supply their own Windows 11 Laptop computer for the duration of the assignment.
  • Every contractor must supply their own “Smart Phone”.This is needed to gain access to the Organizations network
