What you’ll do
  • Sales planning and execution: Collaborates in the development and implementation of strategic sales plans for poultry farmers within the assigned territory, ensuring alignment with established objectives and performance targets.
  • Oversees execution to guarantee successful realization of sales initiatives and achievement of revenue goals.
  • Making recommendations with regards to management recommendations as it relates to their environment.
  • Participating in professional seminars and business meetings held in Manitoba to enhance industry knowledge, network with peers, and stay updated on best practices and emerging trends.
  • New Customer acquisition: Applies market intelligence specific to the poultry industry to identify opportunities and proactively acquire new customers via on-site visits, targeted phone outreach, and referral channels, building a high‑quality pipeline and accelerating conversion.
  • Customer Management: Builds trust with new and existing customers by identifying their needs, providing advice and effective solutions to their needs to realize improved customer satisfaction. Calling prospective customers, sharing our programs, existing and new customers, develop customer base.
  • Service and sales into poultry industry in MB particularly in pullets and laying hens. Servicing existing customers by performing on farm visits, barns, reviewing production cords, assessing the current environments.
  • Value Selling: Builds value the customer by investigation to uncover explicit needs and develop those needs. Demonstrates company’s capability by explaining how company’s products and services match a customer’s needs.
  • Issue resolution: Resolves or ensures resolution of customer complaints, queries in a timely and efficient manner, in close cooperation with colleagues in Sales and Customer Services, to satisfy customer expectations.
Who we’re looking for
  • 4 to 5+ years of strong sales experience with understanding of the feed sales. MS Office – Excel
  • Bachelor’s degree in agriculture with a comprehensive understanding of practices, complemented by a strong farm background
  • Practical experience in poultry management, including breeding, feeding, and health monitoring
  • Detail-oriented and confident in Excel
  • Oriented in work, organized and accuracy should be high
You’ll also need
  • Class 5 driver’s license
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer skills with attention to detail
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities
