Job summary

Eastern Valve in Paradise, NL is seeking a motivated Technical Inside Sales professional to be the primary contact for customers seeking valve, automation, and instrumentation solutions. You will evaluate project requirements, prepare quotations, and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to deliver technical and commercial outcomes.

Ideal candidates have inside/technical sales experience, a post-secondary diploma in a tech or engineering field, strong listening and communication skills,

Qualifications

• Inside sales and/or technical sales experience required.
• Post-secondary diploma in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Instrumentation Technology, Industrial Technology, Business, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer inquiries with technical sales support for valve, automation, and instrumentation products.
• Review customer specifications, applications, and operating requirements to identify appropriate products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify requirements and coordinate order fulfillment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts by providing responsive service and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives and technical specialists to identify opportunities and support customer projects.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, opportunities, and account activity within CRM systems.
• Participate in product training and ongoing technical development to expand product and industry knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.
