Job summary

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience is an asset.

We are currently seeking and have an immediate opening for a qualified and motivated individual to fill the position of Technical Inside Sales, based out of Paradise, NL location.

In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers, providing technical sales support and guidance on valve and flow control solutions. Working closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams, you will evaluate project requirements, prepare quotations, and help deliver solutions that meet operational, technical, and commercial objectives. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical aptitude, excellent listening skills, and a passion for building customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer inquiries and provide technical sales support for valve, automation, and instrumentation products.
• Review customer specifications, applications, and operating requirements to identify appropriate products and solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and technical documentation while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify requirements and coordinate order fulfillment.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts by providing responsive service and technical expertise.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives and technical specialists to identify opportunities and support customer projects.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, quotations, opportunities, and account activity within CRM systems.
• Participate in product training and ongoing technical development to expand product and industry knowledge.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in inside sales and/or technical sales is required, preference will be given individuals with technical aptitude industrial valve products, applications, and industry standards.
• Post-secondary diploma in Engineering Technology, Mechanical Technology, Instrumentation Technology, Industrial Technology, Business, or a related field is required.
• Excellent listening, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and develop within a technical sales environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general computer applications; experience with CRM systems is an asset.

In accordance with the provincial wage transparency requirements, the expected base compensation for this position is $55,000-$65,000/year (or more) depending on relevant experience, technical competencies, certifications, etc.
